Recently, in Da Nang, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) partnered with the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council to organize the seminar titled "AI and Information Security in the Digital Era." The event attracted approximately 200 participants, including representatives from government agencies, associations, and women entrepreneurs from across the country.

The seminar served as an opportunity to connect women entrepreneurs with regulatory bodies, support organizations, and experts to share insights at the intersection of technology, human capital, and governance. It also provided foundational knowledge on "digital defense" in business management, especially for women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (WSMEs), aiming to enhance their risk resilience and operational safety in the digital economy.

Within the framework of the event, experts analyzed the development trends of artificial intelligence (AI) and its profound impacts on business operations and management in the digital age. They also emphasized the importance of identifying AI-driven cyber threats, enhancing risk prevention, and safeguarding data and privacy in cyberspace. These insights aim to support businesses in adopting AI safely, effectively, and sustainably in the digital era.

At the panel discussion titled "Applying AI and Ensuring Information Security in Business Operations," Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Phuong – Deputy Director of BIDV’s Corporate Banking Division – shared the bank’s practical perspectives on digital finance and the role of banks in promoting financial inclusion and building a safe, sustainable digital transformation ecosystem for women entrepreneurs, and highlighted the importance of collaboration among banks, businesses, tech organizations, and women support networks to create a secure and sustainable digital ecosystem—where finance is not only a source of capital but also a lever for empowering women's development in the digital era.

Reaffirming its commitment to supporting women-owned businesses, BIDV has identified three key priorities: enabling fair access to finance through digitized processes, assisting in financial management capacity-building via online tools, and connecting female clients to a comprehensive digital ecosystem. In addition, BIDV has proactively implemented a wide range of financial and non-financial solutions to serve as a launchpad for the sustainable growth of women-led enterprises. These efforts aim to maximize the added value of bank capital, improve business management and financial health, and accelerate digital transformation—making it easier for women-led businesses to access digital banking products and services.
