On 1 September 2016, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) sent an official letter No. 2651/BIDV-TKHDQT to the State Securities Commission, Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, and Hanoi Stock Exchange, specifically:

​1. Mr. Tran Bac Ha – Chairman of the Board of Directors of BIDV will retire from 1 September 2016. 2. Mr. Tran Anh Tuan – member of the Board of Directors of BIDV is voted by the bank’s Board to be in charge of the Board with effect from 1 September 2016. 3. Mr. Tran Anh Tuan shall carry out responsibilities, duties and powers of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BIDV with effect from 1 September 2016.
