Implementing the contents of the Cooperation Agreement for developing the electronic tax Payment service signed on 08/11/2013, the General Department of Taxation (GDT) and Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) coordinated in building and completing the electronic tax Payment functions on the information portal //kekhaithue.gdt.gov.vn portal and holding the training courses for cadres of tax, banking and corporate industry in the development of electronic tax payment service at the localities.

Accordingly,from 14:00 on 09/02/2014, the organizations and enterprises as Taxpayers can access the information portal //kekhaithue.gdt.gov.vnto make electronic tax payment with functions such as: Registering to use the electronic tax payment service; Preparing and sending the receipt with support to provide the information of tax number payable; Look up documents/notices; Updating taxpayer information. ​When the electronic tax Payment service is officially developed and goes into operation, it will bring about many utilities to the Taxpayers, Tax agencies and Commercial Banks, specifically:

For Taxpayers:🐬 Can pay tax at any time, anywhere with an Internet connection; Can easily prepare the receipt of payment into the State Budget directly on the Information portal of the Tax agencies and the instant transaction results are confirmed by BIDV.

ForTax agencies:🅠 Enhance the efficiency of the tax management, process tax collection and payment information quickly and accurately, contribute todiversifying the State budget collection channels.

For Commercial banks:🍌 Through the electronic tax Payment service, can provide more modern banking services to the enterprises, at the same time contribute a part of effort to implementing target of modernization, public administration reform of the Government.

For the time of initial pilot development, the Taxpayers as organizations, enterprises have account at BIDV areissued with tax code/enterprise code and are implementing the electronic tax declaration on the electronic information Portal of the Tax agencies in the localities such as Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc. After the time of pilot development, the electronic tax Payment service will be widely deployed nationwide and permit all organizations and enterprises to access and use this modern electronic tax payment form.
