On 5 April 2021, the signing ceremony between Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) and Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) took place at BIDV Head Quarter.

Representing VNU, attending the ceremony were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Central Committee of the Party - Director, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai - Permanent Deputy Secretary - Permanent Deputy Director, Assoc. The Director and the Rectors / Vice Rectors of the affiliated universities, the Dean and Vice-Dean of the faculties and the leaders of the Department and Board of the agency. On behalf BIDV, there were Mr. Phan Duc Tu - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Le Ngoc Lam - General Director and members of the Board of Directors, Board of Management, leadership representatives of the Head Office and Branches.

Accordingly, BIDV will provide scholarships for students of the university, and also funds the university to develop facilities and organize scientific research activities. For VNU, it will create favorable conditions for BIDV to implement the cooperation, access and introduce banking products and services to the staff, students of the university. The two Accordingly, VNU will provide training courses for BIDV employees, as well as introduce labor to the banks. BIDV will provide research internship opportunities for VNU students, and collaborate with VNU to open training courses.
