To encourage and promote cashless payment in response to the Covid-19 outbreak, helping minimize infection of the disease, BIDV will refund 100 percent of transaction fees on BIDV e-banking for new users from 14 February to 30 April 2020. Customers making deposits via BIDV SmartBanking or BIDV Online will also enjoy an extra 0.2% p.a. interest rate for all saving terms compared to the interest rates quoted at BIDV transaction counters. In addition, BIDV will reduce online interbank transfer fees (including BIDV Online, BIDV SmartBanking, Bankplus and ATMs) by over 70 percent for amounts ≤ VND500,000, starting 25 February.
